LANDSCAPE | INTERRUPTED was the debut gallery show by lens-based artist Joey Malbon / Bad/Good. It was a one night only event at Conduit Gallery located at 165 East Hastings in the heart of the Downtown East Side. 

The night also featured writings from members of the SFU Creative Ecologies Colloquium.

Allison Mander-Wionzek will shared a brief reading from a forthcoming publication of writings thematic to the exhibition.

Linara Kolosov read two poems discussing her reconciliatory relationship with nature, exploring themes of destruction and nurturance.Linara is a poet who rejects and criticizes the frames of contemporary society by creating a world of harmony and equity with Nature and herself as a woman and mother.

Lee Beavington also read two poems inspired by his reverence for nature. Lee is a self-described  poet-scientist-philosopher. He is a dad, husband, award-winning author, and teaches in five faculties at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He is completing a PhD in Environmental Education at SFU which explores the topic of nature as teacher.
